Welcome and thanks for your interest in Westminster John Knox Press. If you’d like to submit a proposal, please review the guidelines below carefully.
Westminster John Knox Press publishes books in theology, biblical studies, preaching, worship, ethics, religion and culture, and other related fields for four main markets: scholars and students in colleges, universities, seminaries, and divinity schools; preachers, educators, and counselors working in churches; members of mainline Protestant congregations; and books specifically related to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
Please keep in mind:
- We do not publish fiction, memoir, or poetry, - We do not publish dissertations or Festschriften - While WJK does not publish children's books, you may submit your children's book manuscript to our partner imprint, Flyaway Books, by clicking here - The review process can take eight to twelve weeks or more - The volume of unsolicited proposals we receive makes it impossible for us to offer personal feedback in most cases - Electronic submission is required. Send proposals to submissions@wjkbooks.com. Please include your last name and proposal title in the subject line of your email. - Do not send a complete manuscript instead of a proposal - Please review our books and publishing program before submitting a proposal to ensure that WJK is a good fit for your work.
