Woven into Prayer: A Flexible Pattern of Daily Prayer Through the Christian Year

The popular spiritual writer Angela Ashwin provides an order of prayer for every day of the Christian year that can be used in a variety of ways depending on individual circumstances.”Following the rich tapestry of themes to be found in the seasons of the Christian year, each day’s pattern includes:A Thread for the Day – for the hard pressed, a brief prayer outline to sustain them through the day,a Short Order of Daily Prayer – a simple liturgy for the day,a Quiet Space – creative prayer ideas for for those who wish to go deeper, Night Time Blessing – prayer to end the day.”All these outlines may be used in a day, or perhaps just one or two as other demands allow. Woven Into Prayer helps us find ways in which we can pray and to trust that all our efforts at prayer, no matter how halting, are received with infinite tenderness.
