Babbit and Joan, a Rabbit and a Phone

“A charming, low-tech picture book story for children ages 3-7 about how a small adventure can open up into big possibilities…Highly recommended for family, daycare center, preschool, elementary school, and community library picture book collections.” —Midwest Book Review

“Turu’s bright forest colors and creatures liven up the pages, and the humor will entertain adult readers, too….An excellent way to encourage young readers toward low-tech adventures of their own.” —San Francisco Book Review

“This age of technology is amazing. With all its inventive supply, we are never left with down time. While it is great for bringing a whole wider world into close-up view, it has also widened the blurred focus of those things that were actually close. This cute story takes up this obsessive love affair with our phones. Babbit realizes his thoughtless use of his phone, and he finds new adventures and friends he had not imagined.” —Story Monsters Ink
