Diverse Gifts

“As increased pension costs mean fewer paid priests, Anglican churches looking to the future will be less able to rely on having a traditional paid parish priest and will increasingly depend on lay as well as ordained ministry. The range of ministry opportunities, lay and ordained, in the Church is surprisingly wide and this new volume explores each in turn – stipendiary and non-stipendiary priest, reader, ordained local minister, youth leader, evangelist, music director, children’s worker, pastoral visitor and more.áá “”Diverse Gifts”” will be a first port of call for all who are considering their vocation, as well as for parish teams looking to build up the life of the church by nurturing the gifts of its members.”
