Drawing upon personal experience, clinical knowledge, social research, and interviews, Wade Rowatt provides the layperson with the necessary tools to assess and provide spiritual help to adolescents in crisis. G. Wade Rowatt Jr. is Director of Clinical Pastoral Education at the St. Matthews’s Pastoral Counseling Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He is a former Professor of Pastoral Care and Psychology of Religion at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville. Dr. Rowatt has been a counselor for youth and a resource person for youth ministries for over thirty years.
