The Presbyterian Hymnal
Hymns, Psalms, and Spiritual Songs: Congregations may reproduce for worship or education purposes any single item for one-time use in a bulletin, special program, or lesson resource provided (1) that the hymn bears a copyright from Westminster John Knox Press, The Westminster Press, John Ribble, W. L. Jenkins, Jane Parker Huber, Brian Dill, or Melva Costen or is in the public domain (in which case no copyright notice appears); (2) that the copyright notice as shown on the page is included on the reproduction; and (3) that The Presbyterian Hymnal: Hymns, Psalms, and Spiritual Songs is acknowledged as the source.

Permission requests for use of more than one item or for publication should be submitted in writing.

Sing the Faith
You must seek permission from the copyright holder of the hymn prior to reproducing or printing. The copyright holder of each hymn is listed at the bottom of the hymn page. The contact information for each copyright holder is in the acknowledgments section at the back of the hymnal. If no copyright notice appears, this indicates that the hymn is in the public domain.

A Singing Faith
A Singing Faith or Singing in Celebration by Jane Parker Huber. The words of an individual hymn, or at the most three hymns, may be reprinted without special permission in a worship bulletin for one-time use only up to two hundred copies, provided that the following acknowledgment is included for each hymn as applicable:

[Name of hymn] from A Singing Faith. (c)1981 Jane Parker Huber. Used by permission of Westminster John Knox Press.

[Name of hymn] from Singing in Celebration. (c)1996 Jane Parker Huber. Used by permission of Westminster John Knox Press.

All other requests must be submitted in writing.
